According to the Government’s roadmap, all being well baby and toddler classes will be able to reopen on 12h April 2021. This is subject to a limit of 15 parents being present. Outdoor parent and child groups can reopen on 29th March for up to 15 people (not counting those aged under five).
Bear in mind that some local classes and groups be later due to issues with venues, logistics etc – playgroups in particular for example rend to operate on a drop in basis and are ran by volunteers, so they may be a little longer to return, or may return with a different setup for the time being.
We’ve pulled together lots of the local baby and toddler classes planning to reopen on (or around) 12th April – CLICK HERE
As with everything at the moment, this information can change at a moment’s notice so please contact the individual provider to confirm arrangements.
The classes listed are the ones we know for sure are planning to reopen – we know there are many more who are working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready to reopen, and we will update the list as and when we know for sure when they’ll be back. In the meantime, if you know of any baby and toddler classes planning to reopen which aren’t listed, or would like your class to be listed, please get in touch here.
We have lists of all the local classes and playgroups here (both those planning to reopen in April and those which aren’t as yet) . We hope the lists will give you an idea of what is usually available locally for mums and little ones (there’s a LOT!). They are broken down into day, class type, area and we have specific sections for classes you can just ‘drop into’ (when they can reopen), and those under £2. Please note that we are currently working hard to check and update this information ready for when things are once again back to normal- but as quickly as we type, things tend to change again (!!) – so please bear with us!
