This fantastic café is a space where families with their children meet, learn, play and interact with each other as part of the Cheshire East Parenting Journey.

Central to our vision is for the café to be a vital and attractive community space for families with their children from across the local area. The café is a warm and welcoming space for our community to access whilst enjoying healthy and delicious food using home grown fresh fruit, vegetables, and other ingredients where possible from our onsite community market garden.

The cafe puts messy play sessions for children to take part in – at the time of writing it’s on Mondays and Thursdays from 12 until 2 – but this is subject to change.  The cafe is full of toys games, books, drawing and craft materials and all sorts else for the children to enjoy.

There is also a Toy Library full of toys for different ages which you can borrow for a small fee.

Some testimonials –

This cafe is utterly brilliant, I was there 3 times last week 🤣 just what Wilmslow needs, as Costa and Starbucks have nowhere for kids to play. The set-up is brilliant. So good for kids and so good for mummies to enjoy their coffee – THANK YOU!

Such a lovely café, I visited last week with my baby and we love it ❤ We will definitely be regular customer. Thank you for creating such a nice play space for family with young children

The Café @ Oakenclough is open Monday – Friday from 10.00 – 2.00pm for families with children.

It operates the same hours during School Holidays, except for Bank Holidays.
