Parents have so many calls on their time. Quality ‘you’ time away from the usual routines is difficult but being able to do something different can benefit everyone.
Making new friends, working in an amazing place and knowing that you’re helping a great cause – three fabulous reasons to get volunteering. We are offering volunteering opportunity’s to work in our visitor centre at the National Trust’s Hare Hill. You can learn new skills, refresh old ones, make new friends and spend time in a beautiful place. We are looking for volunteers to work in our Visitors Centre. We currently have two shifts a day you can choose from – 10.15-13.30 and 13.15-17.00.
Benefits include – after 50 hours volunteering a pass entitling you to free admission-free car parking -20% off all NT items (even in the cafes!) and discounted holidays!
In supporting our work here at Hare Hill you will be making our visitors feel welcome, promoting the National Trust, selling raffle tickets for our garden conservation projects, helping to keep our retail shop looking its best, chatting to visitors and just as importantly enjoying every second.
We are local to you, with flexible shifts which are just 3.5 hours long, so you can volunteer with us around other commitments and we will also help towards covering your travel expenses.
It’s the skills, time and passion of our volunteers that make our places special and it’s a great way for you to get involved and make a difference.
