Handforth Miniature Railway

A Miniature Railway Behind the Paddock in Handforth in Meriton Road Park.

A lovely day out for the kids in Cheshire.

Open Sundays 11Am ’till 4Pm or later on sunny days. HMR no longer charge for rides, they ask for donations. The amount is at the discretion of the rider.

They also run trains on Wednesdays between 11am and 2pm on request. If the doors of the pavilion are open please ask and they will run a train especially for you.

High Legh Miniature Railway

Runs in the grounds of High Legh Garden Centre.

Play and picnic areas.

Beautiful lake offering watersports and lovely walks.

Paid car parking available but limited; mini steam railway; cafe; toilets and changing facilities; some walks not great for buggies so double check before you start.
