Wheelock’s pumpkin patch is now open.

Combine your pumpkin picking with the other activities available at the farm – meet the animals, use the play area and jump around at the soft play.  They also have a scarecrow display.

Please note – recent heavy rainfall means the patch will be soft underfoot, so take appropriate footwear.

Crewe Rd, Sandbach CW11 4RE

🎃 Tatton Park, Knutsford

Tatton’s Pumpkin Patch will be open from 28 – 31 October 2019 – you need to book in advance.

There’s also a Family ‘Pick a Pumpkin’ event from 26 – 27 October 2019.  You’ll choose your own pumpkin then head over to the  Clydesdale Barn for a pumpkin juice and pumpkin muffin and learn how to create a warming pumpkin soup.  Advance booking only.

Knutsford WA16 6SG

🎃 Kenyon Hall Farm, Warrington

Unfortunately most of the farm’s pumpkins haven’t grown this year so they don’t have a pumpkin patch.

Instead, they’ve made a ‘pumpkin parade’ – an outdoor field with rows of harvested pumpkins laid out for you to choose from. It’s not the ‘proper’ pumpkin picking they usually offer but it’s as close as they can get this year.

Open every day from 9am – 5.30pm and no booking is required.   The pumpkin carving  area will open on 12th October.

The farm is aiming  to have pumpkins to choose from the indoor display until Halloween on 31st October. The outdoor ‘parade’ is likely to close before Halloween if the rainy weather continues – the increasingly muddy conditions will make access to the field impossible.

If you have pre-school children the farm advises you go before half term on 19th October. If you have school-aged children, they are open until 6pm from 14-18th October for after school picking and carving.

If you’re going at a weekend or during half-term, the car park will be full by mid-morning.  The farm asks you arrive early (before 10am) or late (after 3pm). There’s no over-flow car park this year and they’ll have to turn cars away when the car park is full.

Winwick Ln, Croft, Warrington WA3 7ED

🎃 Red House Farm, Dunham Massey

Whilst the farm will sadly be closing to the public on 4th November 2019, they’re going to continue with pumpkin picking and have said that they have thousands this year!

Opening times are as follows:-

10am-4pm (last entry 3.30pm)

No need to pre-book, just turn up any day it is open (see below)

There’s no entry price for pumpkin picking – you pay per pumpkin (prices dependant on size)
