There’s loads going on for kids and families this weekend in Cheshire East, specifically Macclesfield, Knutsford, Congleton, Sandbach, Wilmslow, Poynton, Alderley Edge and Prestbury.

Knutsford Fire Station Open Day
July 20 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
There will be a range of activities offering fun for all the family at the fire station on Mobberley Road from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 20 July.
As part of the event there’ll be a number of activities and displays; including face painting and the chance to look round a variety of modern and vintage fire and rescue vehicles.
In addition, there will also be demonstrations by the Cheshire Fire Cadets, a climbing wall and a variety of community stands.
As always, the event is free to attend and refreshments will be available to buy throughout the day.

Children’s Drop-In Craft Session at Macclesfield Library
July 20 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Join us on Saturday 20 July for a morning of space themed crafts to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Anderton Boat Lift Pirate Festival
July 20 and 21 @ 10:30 am – 3:30 pm
Displays of cannon, pistol and blunderbuss firing, sword fighting and much more. There will also be two authentic pirate tents on site.

Marton Wakes Village Fete
July 20 @ 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Traditional village fete. Begins with the Rose Queen procession arriving by tractor, then traditional games such as coconut shy and tombola, a brass band, a dog show, birds of prey and model aircraft display, a BBQ and bar, afternoon teas and more.
From 5:30, – hog roast, Victorian cricket, clay pigeon shoot.

Bee Trail at Biddulph Grange Garden
