What? Direct from the West End and on the back of some tasty reviews, Toast is a show to really get your teeth into. Vividly recreating the childhood of TV food writer and Chef Nigel Slater, it perfectly blends the nostalgia of his past using the tastes and smells he grew up with, with the tragic tale of love, loss and the transition into adulthood. The show which is ‘better than sliced bread’ provides a tantalising taste of the early life of Nigel Slater during the 1960s. This evocative tale is told through the tastes and smells he grew up with and the audience will be taken on an interactive journey which utilises all the senses to experience Nigel’s life and the definitive moments of his youth.
