The Wednesday Night Youth Project is the place to spend time with friends, to get involved in activities, to have fun, to grow and develop new skills – and to contribute to your local community.

Glitter God – Every Fourth Sunday. Discover that worshipping God can involve food, crafts, fun…and of course glitter! This is a relaxed, informal service that opens up some of the wonderful and surprising stories in the Bible, while we enjoy crafts and games, songs and prayer, and afternoon tea as well.

Cre8 Macclesfield

Cre8 runs a wide range of activities and services for young people (usually aged between 8 right up to 25) and their families, from the Moss Rose Estate in Macclesfield.

We currently run two youth clubs nights… Tuesdays for young people at secondary school aged between 11 and 16. Wednesdays nights at for young people at Primary school from age 8 to 10.

Friends For Leisure Youth Group – Congleton and Macclesfield

Friends for Leisure arranges activities from one-to-one friendships through to group activities, such as drama and sports sessions, for disabled children & young people aged 5-21 who live in Cheshire East. We also help our children and young people access activities of their choice, with or without a volunteer friend.

What happens?: A small group of young people and volunteers meets for one or two games of ten-pin bowling.

iMacclesfield Youth Club

Based at the Fermain Youth Centre, we are a multi award winning youth provision and have a complete range of indoor & outdoor activities. We’re open to all 11 to 16 year olds every Monday and Thursday, 7pm to 9pm.

To join is just £3 for the whole year and then a mere .50p per session and this includes all activities. Activity wise we have table tennis tables, pool tables, online IT and media suite suite and an Xbox 360 & Wii both on 42″ plasmas. Plus we have a chill out area and tuck shop.

Just Drop In, Macclesfield – 12-25 years

The Drop-In is open six days a week where volunteers offer young people a friendly and supportive environment, no appointment necessary; we also offer practical support such as internet, phone and printing usage.

Volunteers provide emotional support, information and practical help for young people with any issues which they may need support with, this could include employment, money or accommodation.  There are also one to one sessions available everyday which can be booked for people wanting an appointment to focus on specific tasks, this could be anything from filling a form in to making a benefit claim.

Up & Running

Once a week on a Tuesday afternoon we run a free, friendly and fun, sports & fitness group for young people aged 16-25.

Advice from CAB
Every Thursday from 3-5pm a volunteer from Macclesfield Citizens Advice Bureau is available at Just Drop-In to work one-to-one with young people giving free, independent and confidential advice about rights and responsibilities from education to benefits and much more. Kids Club at St George’s Street Baptist Church, Macclesfield

Run by Chris and her team, Kid’s Club is a supervised youth club for primary school children, run every other Friday.  Each session is usually broken into four time slots.  On arrival and during registration, we play a variety of games, after which we have a drink and a snack.

Poynton Christian Fellowship Youth Groups

The Hub – During the school term we open up the Hockley Centre every Friday from 7pm.

The Hub is for all those in school years 7-13 and we host a range of activities throughout the evening from sports to baking; games consoles to movies. From 9pm, we open the club exclusively for ages 15+ and use this time to sit down and discuss relevant topics.

Fuse Group – This youth group runs after school on a Thursday until 5pm at the Hockley Centre. This group is a chance for the youth at the younger end to get gelled into the youth group.

Wilmslow Youth

Wilmslow Youth is a project led by Life Church and Wilmslow URC. We’re all about offering opportunities, support, and care to young people in Wilmslow. We’re here to shape positive youth culture and to help you be all that you can be.

About Scope

About ARC

ARC is our community drama group. The ARC sessions are a space for young people to be creative and have fun whilst putting together short drama pieces that explore thought-provoking topics.


Wilmslow Youth ROC Café – 5-18 years

The ROC Café is open every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the  Undercroft at Wilmslow URC.  There are hot and cold drinks, snacks and tuck shop as well as games consoles, table tennis, bean bags, arts and crafts and free wifi.  It’s a great place to come and hang out with friends, or to come and meet new people.  It’s staffed by our youth work team who will always make sure you have a great time, and have someone to chat to if you ever need a listening ear.

On Fridays evenings 7-9 we open the doos of the Undercroft to for a high energy evening to start the weekend. You’ll find food, drink, PS4, Xbox, 1’s, arts and crafts, table tennis, games, bean bags and much more.

On Wednesdays and Fridays there is a mentoring service.
