Saffrons Yoga was set up by me, Saffron! I have been surrounded by yoga my whole life. My inspiring mother has practiced yoga since she was 15 and therefore has always practiced yoga with and around me and my brother. Its a way of life for us all and it felt natural for me teach others the joys and benefits of yoga.
I trained as a yoga teach with Dru yoga on a four year course and completed the course age 27 years, in March 2009.
When I had my first child, I wanted to learn more about yoga with babies and share my knowledge with other mums that might need support so I set up baby yoga classes in Macclesfield, in 2009.
When I was pregnant with my second child, I trained as a specialist in pregnancy yoga. I learnt and taught pregnancy yoga all through my pregnancy till 3 weeks before my due date and it kept me strong.
My style of teaching is a combination of Dru Prenatal yoga, teaching from Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Janine Hurley, Wendy Teasdill and Hypno Yoga with my own experience and unique energy. I continue to have my own personal yoga practice that I enjoy with my children and partner.
And now I am committed to supporting women during this special time in there lives, I enjoy continuing my training with world renowned teachers such as Uma Dinsmore Tuli and passing on what I have learnt and educating woman to how to use their body and breath to birth their baby in the best possible way.
I teach pregnancy yoga on Mondays at 6pm at Macclesfield Hospital Antenatal Clinic, Victoria Rd, Macclesfield, Cheshire SK10 3BL and on Tuesdays at 7pm at Macclesfield Library, Jordangate, Macclesfield SK10 1EE
