Family Walks at South Park | Come join us for a picnic (packed lunches for children provided) and family walk around your local park, where we will also stop to sing songs, read a story and play with the parachute. Meet us in South Park, Macclesfield. You will be able to meet new friends and will have the opportunity to talk about things which are familiar to all at this stage of your child’s development. This session is suitable for families. Come rain or shine we will be walking, talking and making new friends.

Buggy Walk
Term-time only. |
Join us on our free Buggy Walks at your local park with a member of your Children’s Centre team. You will be able to meet new friends and will have the opportunity to talk about things which are familiar to all at this stage of your child’s development. Walking with your baby has lots of advantages, as well as light exercise it gets both you and your baby out in the fresh air. This session is suitable for babies in a buggy or pram. Come rain or shine we will be walking, talking and making new friends.
Please bring along a blanket for you and your baby as we will be sat for activities, #50thingstogether. Government guidelines states that new parents and child groups can continue to provide support, therefore, come and join us on our free under 1’s ‘Buggy Walks’ with a member of your local Children’s Centre team. Babies Together at Hurdsfield Children’s Centre

Babies Together is a free weekly session for parents and carers with babies from birth to one year old. It’s a fun and relaxed session where you and your baby can take part in a wide range of activities suitable for their age and stage of development.
We’ll introduce you to a world of stories, rhymes, messy play, sensory activities, baby-friendly crafts, the parenting journey and lots more! Places are limited due to Covid restrictions, so booking a ticket for yourself and your child through the Eventbrite link is essential. Some of our activities will be based in our outdoor area so weather appropriate clothing is encouraged. We also suggest that you bring a change of clothes for your baby in case they get messy! |
Toddlers Together at Ash Grove Children’s Centre

If your child is aged between 1-2 year’s, please join our free face to face Toddler’s Together session. Where you and your child will have the opportunity to sing, create, play and talk with a member of your local Children’s Centre.

Stay and Play at Broken Cross Children’s Centre

If your children are aged from birth up to 5 years old. Come and explore a range of play activities, including messy play and outdoor play, with an interactive rhyme and song time to end.

Baby Massage

Baby massage is a lovely way to enjoy time with your baby and it can also help you bond together.
Baby Massage is a 5-week course where our trained Family Service Workers will demonstrate a variety of soothing holds and rhythmic strokes. Baby and Me | Baby and Me runs over 3 weeks. The sessions last up to 1 hour and support both you and your baby.
Each session focuses on your baby’s learning and development and activities which you can do with your baby in your home. These activities include sensory play, songs and rhymes and messy play. You will also have the opportunity to meet and talk to other parents and share experiences that you are all having as you welcome your new baby. Sensory Experience | Sessions are limited and are suitable for babies under 1 and children with additional needs to enjoy our sensory equipment and resources in a quiet relaxing environment. Sessions can only be booked with people that live in your household or in your support bubble.

Weaning advice | A Weaning session delivered by Health Professionals and Family Service Workers.
On this session you will find a lot of helpful information on when to introduce your baby to solid foods and tips to make it easier, and what baby-led weaning is. Introducing your baby to their first foods is an important time in your baby’s life and can be lots of fun. This session is open for online booking.
