Alice and friends have escaped from the pages of Lewis Carroll’s marvellous tale, and the enchanted world of Wonderland has mysteriously sprung into the grounds of the Hall. There’s Alice, Queen of Hearts, Absolem the Caterpillar and of course the Rabbit…will he lead you this way, or that way – who knows!
Dress-up and join the fun as the much-loved adventure comes to life. There’s an Easter Egg included with every full-paying child ticket, making this the perfect Easter trip out for the whole family.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is one of Sneaky Experience’s classic walkabout outdoor theatre shows for families and is perfect for children aged 2 – 8 and their parents. We do our best to make it buggy and wheelchair accessible but as a heritage site, the ground is grassy, cobbled and uneven in places.
The show will last around 45 minutes and carefully planned to maximise children’s attention span. The group will be met by our actors at the start point and taken off in small groups (don’t worry, you can stay with your family unless of course you’d prefer not to!) to meet some of the marvellously mad characters from Alice’s world. Each character is located in one of five unique spaces around the Abbey site and groups will make their way around all five locations as the story unfolds.
At the end, you’ll emerge into one of Capesthorne’s open spaces where a variety of handpicked street food vendors will be available for you to feast from, or bring your own picnic and enjoy the grounds.
