The lantern parade leaves Argos at 6pm in Spring Gardens and will lead everyone around town in time for the Xmas lights Switch On at the Christmas tree in the Crescent by Turners memorial.
Lights to be switched on by IBF European cruiserweight boxing champion Jack Massey, High Peak Mayor and Mayoress and also Buxton’s favourite Dame James Holmes who is playing the Widow Twankey in Aladdin at the Opera House.
Hot food vendors, bar, real reindeer, Billerettes, stilt walkers, fire engine, live music, children’s rides, late night shopping, a laser show and lots more
