13 Oak Cottages was not part of the modernisation of the village in the 1960s and is open for visitors as The Worker’s Cottage.
The ground floor features a parlour at the front, and a scullery at the back. At the rear of the property is a stone flagged yard with the privy, coal storage, ash pit and water cistern, and on the first floor are two bedrooms.
