Join us for a visit where you will explore working life in a Victorian silk mill and try your hand at weaving.
We are looking to improve what we offer families and young people on a visit to the museum. This is your opportunity to be our specialists for the day! During the visit we will gather your ideas, do a tour of Paradise Mill and try out different styles of weaving.
The visit will last 2.5 hours with a break for a snack and drink.
Suitable for children ages 6 and over. Children need to be accompanied by an adult at all times during the visit.

Making tactile books for children and families
Tell a story that everyone can enjoy by making a tactile book. How do children affected by vision impairments enjoy books and share stories? Make your own book using lots of different textures and shapes to tell a story. Fun for all children, with or without experience of living with vision impairments.
Free, Booking required
Suitable for children aged 4 and over. Children must be accompanied throughout the session.
