There’s LOADS happening this Christmas for kids in Cheshire. We’ve picked a few of our favourites here – if you want to check out the full list, head to our Whats on Guide here.
The Muni Mumblers have done this a few times, and it’s great fun. The whole farm is transformed into a Christmas wonderland full of festive activities. Snuggle the animals, decorate biscuits with Mrs Claus, build your own bear, make reindeer dust, meet Santa and lots more!!
What’s more festive than a good old panto?! This year’s offering from the magnificent Crewe Lyceum is Cinderella, starring X Factor winner, Music Artist and Musical Theatre star Matt Terry and everyone’s favourite dame, Malcolm Lord. The show is receiving rave reviews and there are just a few tickets left, so don’t hang around!
Few things make me feel more Christmassy than a lovely festive singalong, and there are a few happening locally this year, including the much-loved Carols in the Courtyard at St Pauls in Macclesfield on 22nd December 2023.
We always enjoy the seasonal trails at the lovely Tittesworth Water, and the Christmas one is a great way to get the kids out in the fresh air with a bit of added fun. A nice trip out during Twixmas to dust off the cobwebs and walk off some of the trifle.
We’re lucky to have some brilliant libraries putting on great family events year-round. There are a few coming up this week and next weekend (22/23rd December) including Christmas Rhymetime in Poynton and making reindeer food in Wilmslow. Head to the Guide for details – click here.
