Old Hall Family Open Days

The Old Hall is the perfect spot to bring along a family picnic and gentle outdoor games, with space for kids to run around outside.
The Tale of Peter Rabbit

Explore the Gardens on a delightful storytelling tour, based on ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit.’
Meet Mr McGregor, learn about Peter’s mischief and enjoy fun, hands on activities. This event is most appropriate for families with children aged 3-6 years old.
Teddy Hide and Seek

Our cheeky Tatton Teddies have escaped into the Gardens and are playing hide and seek!
Can you help us find them all? Once you have found them all, settle down to enjoy some a story and some songs at our teddy bear picnic.

Join Viking Warlord, Harald Bloodaxe, and his trusted Thrall at Tata’s Tun
Become one of Harald’s Shield Warriors or Shield Maidens and learn about Viking history and their way of life, through an engaging workshop and series of hands on activities in the atmospheric surroundings of Tatton Park’s ancient Old Hall.
